Apple Music and Apple TV+ now offer Free Trials as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Members of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can get free 3-month trials of Apple TV+ and Apple Music from Microsoft. The free trials are a good bonus during the holidays because they give members more time to try both services.

Free gifts from a former rival are now part of Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks. New users of either media provider can now receive a three-month free trial of Apple Music or Apple TV+ if they are Ultimate customers. While playing Halo Infinite, you can listen to music in the background or watch Ted Lasso between sessions.

You have until March 31, 2023, to claim either or both of the Apple trials. Both the Xbox software for Windows and consoles have them. Except for Russia and (for Apple TV+) Turkey, you can utilize the promotions everywhere Apple Music and Apple TV+ are offered.

Weeks after Apple Music was made available on Xbox systems, extras were added. In that sense, the trials are Microsoft's opportunity to advertise availability. It's evident that you don't need a PlayStation to play console games and stream Apple music on the same device thanks to the company's relatively late adoption of Apple Music, which debuted on the PS5 a year earlier.

It also occurs as interoperability has been strengthened by Apple and Microsoft. For instance, the native Photos app in Windows 11 may now access iCloud Photos libraries. While the IT industry still competes with itself, as evidenced by Apple's refusal to promote Game Pass streaming, they are increasingly prepared to work together when it benefits both parties.

On their Xbox console or Xbox app on Windows, Ultimate members who do not already have an Apple TV+ or Apple Music membership can claim one or both Perks. Members will be directed to the appropriate Apple TV+ or Apple Music website to activate their subscriptions after claiming the perk. Members have until March 31, 2023, to activate and receive both free trials.

Normally priced at $14.99 per month, Game Pass Ultimate is currently available for a $1 trial. Included in the membership is:
