Apple Fitness+ is Getting BTS Dance Lessons
Share
Learn the genuine choreography and Dynamite moves of the Korean band.
Prepare yourself for a Dynamite exercise. The new Dance workouts tailored to Korean pop sensation BTS' songs are undoubtedly the most exciting of Apple's Fitness+ improvements, which are scheduled to coincide with International Dance Day, which is coming up on April 29th. Apple will teach users the actual choreography from videos for songs like "Dynamite," "Mic Drop," and, appropriately, "Permission to Dance" thanks to its existing relationship with BTS. The first of the BTS dance workouts will be released next week, but Apple is also updating its Artist Spotlight series with fresh content. Fitness+ is getting playlists from ABBA and Queen in addition to BTS music. Over the following four weeks, new exercises starring each artist will be released every Monday in categories such as Strength, HIIT, Treadmill, Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, and Dance. There will also be new dance workouts taught by trainer Jhon Gonzalez set to genres like cumbia, tango, and Indian pop, as well as sessions lead by other musicians. While the Fitness+ team usually creates their own choreography, they will be teaching the band's smooth-as-butter moves for the BTS videos. Limited-edition prizes and animated Messages stickers will be awarded to those who work hard enough and shed some Blood, Sweat, and Tears (well, hopefully no blood) on April 29th. You must work out for at least 20 minutes, and Fitness+ will emphasize six sessions of that length to help you obtain those prizes. Apple will also release a new collection of workouts on April 25, which is the perfect day for a Spring Day, with three 20-minute instructions to help newcomers into dance. Three 30-minute variations will also be available, focusing on performance and spanning genres such as 80s oldies, Latin music, and hip hop. That last one is a must-have for Hip Hop fans. This news is probably Dope if BTS is your Idol. Alternatively, there's fire. Stay tuned for more exercises based on the band's music from Apple. If BTS or dance aren't your thing, Life Goes On is a good alternative.
