Apple's low-cost phone appears identical to its predecessor.
Apple claims the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will come in a new dark forest-type green, as well as a lighter Alpine Green for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The new alpine green iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options, with prices starting at $999 and $1,099, respectively. Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will be available in the new green colour, with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, starting at $799 and $699, respectively.
Customers in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and more than 30 other countries and regions can pre-order iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max in alpine green, as well as iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini in green, starting at 5 a.m.
Apple is adding two new colours of green to the iPhone 13 lineup: an unidentified dark green for the iPhone 13 and "alpine green" for the iPhone 13 Pro. At the company's "Peek Performance" event, CEO Tim Cook debuted the new hues. Both new colours will be available for purchase on March 18, with pre-orders beginning on Friday.
The "alpine green" finish is slightly metallic, but the two shades of green are comparable. It was constructed with "many layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramics placed across the surface," according to Apple. The new colours complement the iPhone 13's existing colour palette, which includes gold, silver, graphite, and "sierra blue."
Green colours appear to be limited to the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro for the time being. Only three colours are available for the new iPhone SE: red, "starlight" white, and "midnight" black.
The new alpine green iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, according to Apple, are made up of many layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramics placed across the surface. It's finished off with a surgical-grade stainless steel band and textured matte back glass for a finished aesthetic.
To compliment the new Green colour, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have an attractive color-matched aluminum frame and precision-milled back glass.
