Apple Notifies Developers Selected to Attend In-Person WWDC 2025 Event at Apple Park

Apple has officially begun sending out notifications to the developers selected to attend its in-person special event for WWDC 2025, taking place on Monday, June 9 at Apple Park. As with previous years, attendance was determined through a lottery system due to high demand and limited space.

Those who made the cut received a celebratory email reading:

"Congratulations! You've been selected to join us at the special event at Apple Park on Monday, June 9 — and we're thrilled to invite you to additional activities before and after as well."

For developers not selected this time, Apple shared an encouraging message:

"Thank you for your interest in attending the special event at Apple Park. While we regret that we're unable to accommodate your request, we encourage you to join us online for WWDC25 to explore the tools, frameworks, and features that'll help you create your best apps and games yet."

What to Expect at WWDC 2025

Apple previously announced that WWDC 2025 will run from June 9 through June 13, with the special event at Apple Park kicking off the week. The company is expected to unveil major software updates, including:

  • iOS 19

  • iPadOS 19

  • macOS 16

These new platforms are rumored to bring a bold visual redesign, deeper AI integration through Apple Intelligence, and tools designed to further empower the developer community.

Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, shared her excitement for the event:
"We're excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community. We can't wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate."

A Hybrid Event Experience

While the in-person experience is reserved for a limited group of developers, WWDC remains a fully online and free event for everyone else. As always, it will feature a packed schedule of sessions, labs, and community activities, allowing developers from around the world to learn about the latest Apple platforms and how to get the most out of them.

Whether you're joining from Apple Park or tuning in from home, WWDC 2025 is shaping up to be one of Apple’s biggest software showcases yet. Stay tuned for full coverage as we get closer to the big day.
