Apple Set to Launch New iPhone SE and Updated iPad Air Models in Early 2025

Exciting news for Apple fans! According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple is gearing up to release new models of the iPhone SE and iPad Air in early 2025. These updates will bring some fresh features to Apple's lineup, making it even more appealing to budget-conscious shoppers and tech enthusiasts alike.

A New Look for the iPhone SE

The next-generation iPhone SE, codenamed V59, will be Apple's first refresh of its low-end smartphone since 2022, when 5G capability was introduced. This time, Apple is taking things a step further by dropping the home button and embracing the edge-to-edge screen, similar to the rest of the iPhone family. With this change, the iPhone SE will finally look more like the iPhone 14, complete with a notch cutout at the top.

This redesign could help Apple regain some market share, especially in China, where competitors like Huawei and Xiaomi have made big strides with budget-friendly smartphones. The new SE is expected to appeal to shoppers looking for a modern iPhone experience without the high price tag.

Even more exciting, the new SE will support Apple Intelligence, Apple's upcoming suite of AI tools, which will also be compatible with the iPhone 16 and some high-end iPhone 15 models. This means the iPhone SE will not only look great but also deliver cutting-edge AI features for users.

Updated iPad Air Models

Apple is also working on updates for the iPad Air. Codenamed J607 and J637, these new models are expected to focus more on internal upgrades rather than a complete external redesign. So while they may look similar to the current models, they’ll likely be packing some serious improvements under the hood.

Apple is also developing new Magic Keyboard accessories, codenamed R307 and R308, for the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models. These new keyboards will take inspiration from the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, offering users a more seamless and professional typing experience.

What’s Next?

While these devices won’t launch until early next year, we won’t have to wait long for more exciting news from Apple. Rumor has it, Apple will hold another event at the end of this month to introduce M4 Macs and possibly a new iPad mini (codenamed J410). Stay tuned for all the latest announcements!

It’s an exciting time for Apple, and we can’t wait to see how these new products enhance our everyday tech experiences!
